Working parents shouldn’t have to choose between a paycheck and their child’s mental health care. We offer evening and weekend appointments so your child can be seen after school, after work, or on a Saturday morning — from either household.
“I can't recommend Dr. Kristin Kroll at Little Dove Psychology highly enough. She is extremely knowledgeable and brings years of experience to every session, which gives you a lot of confidence that you're in good hands. What really sets her apart though is how much heart she puts into her clients. You can tell she genuinely cares and is invested in helping you. If you're looking for someone thoughtful, skilled, and truly committed to your wellbeing, Dr. Kroll is it. Highly recommend!”
“Kristin is a very caring, compassionate and thorough therapist. She engages on a 1:1 level with varied age groups to better suite their individual needs. Innovative in her treatment approach (especially during the pandemic) to accommodate her patient population. Respects privacy, acts professionally and has a friendly/approachable demeanor.”
“Would very highly recommend Little Dove Psychology for mental health therapy.”
If your child is anxious, struggling at school, melting down over small things, navigating a medical diagnosis, or just not themselves — you’re in the right place.
Founded by Dr. Kristin Kroll, PhD — a licensed psychologist with hospital training and 16+ years of clinical experience — our practice brings depth of expertise to Texas families, without the months-long delays most pediatric psychologists require.

Learn More About Parent Support →College brings new pressures: academic stress, friendships, sleep, identity. We work with college students directly, with parents involved in whatever way the student chooses.
Learn More About College Student Therapy →The best therapist for depression is one trained in evidence-based approaches with research behind them — cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for depression, behavioral activation, and interpersonal therapy (IPT) are the most studied. For kids and teens, you also want a clinician who involves the family in the work, because depression in young people often shifts when the people around them shift too. At Little Dove Psychology, our clinicians are trained in evidence-based depression treatment for kids, teens, and college students, with family-involved approaches built in. Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and exposure-based therapy are the most studied and most effective treatments for anxiety, including in kids and teens. CBT helps young people identify the thoughts driving their anxiety and learn skills to manage them. Exposure-based work helps them gradually face the things their anxiety wants them to avoid — school, social situations, performance — with a clinician guiding the process. At Little Dove, we use both, shaped to fit the young person and the family. Learn more about anxiety therapy →
